Bringing the Internet to Over 1 billion Unconnected

Avealto is a high growth utility business leveraging
a high altitude (20 km in the stratosphere) telecoms platform

Avealto-Wireless Infrastructure Platform

How It Works

  • AVEALTO Wireless Infrastructure Platform (“WIP”) airship is designed to provide low cost and high quality capacity to remote regions of the world.

  • Each WIP Vehicle can support multiple 4G and 5G cell sites, WISP sites, VSAT sites and Maritime services within a 240 km (150 mi) diameter area.

  • Each WIP vehicle operates at an altitude of 18 to 20 kilometers (60,000 to 72,000 feet) and remains in a stationary position in relation to the earth.

  • WIP vehicles use sustainable solar power and the ground terminals use much less power than when connecting to satellites.

Will Serve Multiple End-markets

VSAT Operators
Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) technology
  • Provide satellite communications services using a Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) technology
  • VSAT is a two-way ground station that transmits and receives data from satellites
Mobile Operators
Broadband And Wireless Internet Services
  • Provide fixed line broadband and wireless internet services
  • Can be local telephone companies or other providers of Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) and fiber connections
WISP Operators
Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP)
  • A wireless Internet service provider (WISP) is an Internet service provider (ISP) that allows subscribers to connect to a server at designated hot spots (access points) using a wireless connection such as Wi-Fi
Maritime Operators
Marine Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) technology
  • Provides communication services to maritime industry (Maritime VSAT) to cruise ships, fishing vessels, tankers, freighters, and ferries
Satellite Operators
Satellite Operator Instead Of Telephone Landline
  • Also referred to as internet-by-satellite, is a high-speed bi-directional Internet connection made via GEO communications satellites instead of a telephone landline or other terrestrial means

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Avealto’s Wireless Infrastructure Platform (WIP)?
Avealto’s Wireless Infrastructure Platform (WIP) uses high-altitude airships operating approximately 18–20 km above the Earth to deliver high-quality wireless connectivity to remote and underserved regions. Each WIP vehicle can support multiple 4G and 5G cell sites, WISP, VSAT, and maritime services.
WIP vehicles operate in the stratosphere and remain stationary relative to the Earth, creating a large coverage area from a single platform. Powered by sustainable solar energy, the platform connects with ground-based telecom infrastructure to provide broadband and wireless internet services without relying solely on traditional terrestrial networks or satellites.
Each WIP vehicle is designed to provide connectivity across an area approximately 240 km (150 miles) in diameter. This makes the platform particularly suited to regions where traditional telecom infrastructure is difficult or expensive to deploy.
Avealto is designed to provide a lower-cost and lower-latency alternative to traditional satellite infrastructure. Its WIP platform is expected to offer approximately 50× lower capital expenditure than traditional satellites, around 10× lower cost per Gbps, and approximately 10× lower latency, while also allowing faster deployment and upgrades.
Avealto’s platform is designed to serve multiple connectivity markets, including mobile network operators, WISP operators, VSAT operators, satellite operators, and maritime communications providers. This enables organizations to extend broadband and wireless connectivity to remote communities, businesses, vessels, and other underserved areas.
