We will be at Satshow 2026 next week

The management of AVEALTO is excited about the international Satellite Conference in Washington DC next week.

AVEALTO has completed the R&D and feasibility testing for a transformative new telecommunications technology designed to provide network capacity to regions now served ONLY by satellite.  This technology is will be 75% to 80% lower in cost and higher in quality (lower latency, higher availability and lower bit error rate) than GEO, MEO and LEO satellite services.

This technology may be very disruptive to Starlink and other satellite operators.  It also could be an opportunity for existing operators.  Most existing satellite operators are operating on tight margins, and the recent merger of Intelsat and SES, as one example, indicated a lack of vision for the future of the industry.

Telecom satellite capacity has become a commodity.  A significantly lower price and better quality is likely to prevail in the market. At the event next week, AVEALTO will be looking for industry partners that would like to become the disrupters rather than be the disrupted.

Lower cost and higher quality could disrupt existing satellite operators, but will expand the overall market as more end users in areas served ONLY by satellites can afford access.  The skills and knowledge of the many marketing, support, and technical people in the industry will be needed since AVEALTO technology is very similar to satellites.

Over the last 5 years, quite frankly, many traditional players in the satellite industry have been like a deer in the headlights, frozen in place and waiting to get run over by Starlink and other future constellation operators.   Next week we will be looking for partners that want to help close the Digital Divide and lead the satellite industry into the future, instead of becoming road kill.
